Glenn is the CEO of Redfin. Prior to joining Redfin, he was a co-founder of Plumtree Software, a Sequoia-backed, publicly traded company that created the enterprise portal software market. In his seven years at Plumtree, Glenn at different times led engineering, marketing, product management and business development; he also was responsible for financing and general operations in Plumtree's early days. Prior to starting Plumtree, Glenn worked as one of the first employees at Stanford Technology Group, a Sequoia-backed start-up acquired by IBM. Glenn was raised in Seattle and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a regular contributor to the Redfin blog and Twitter.
Scott NagelPresident of Real Estate Operations
Scott runs the real estate operations at Redfin, with responsibility for revenues, customer service and legal compliance. Prior to Redfin, he was a managing director at LexisNexis, with profit-and-loss responsibility for an $80 million-business. Prior to that, Scott served as vice president of strategy and client operations at Applied Discovery, a successful legal services software start-up. Chris NielsenChief Financial Officer
Chris leads the finance team at Redfin. Before joining Redfin, Chris was the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Zappos.com, a leading destination in online apparel and footwear sales, where he oversaw the company's financial and fulfillment operations. Prior to Zappos.com, Chris led highly successful retail business segments, such as the home and garden store, at Amazon.com. He has also worked at business consulting firms Bain & Co. and Accenture. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University, and a master's degree in business administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Bridget FreyChief Technology Officer
As Redfin’s Chief Technology Officer, Bridget leads the software engineering team, which she has grown to more than 150 engineers in Seattle and San Francisco. Her mission is to build technology that makes the process of buying and selling a home less complicated and less stressful. She is a thought leader on issues facing women in technology, and nearly 30% of the software engineers on her team are women. Prior to Redfin, Frey was the director of analytics and business applications at Lithium Technologies. In addition, she has held management positions at IntrinsiQ Research, IMlogic and Plumtree Software. Bridget holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She was recently named to the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 list. Adam WienerChief Growth Officer
Adam runs the New Business, Analytics & Marketing teams at Redfin. Adam leads the company's efforts to use our proprietary data to build new products for the web and improve our real estate services. He is also responsible for data-driven marketing efforts and identifying opportunities for business growth that align with the company's overall mission to reinvent the consumer experience for buying and selling real estate. Adam joined Redfin in 2007 on the product management team and was one of the pioneers of the Redfin Partner Program for agents, in addition to our service provider directory, Redfin Open Book. Prior to Redfin, Adam worked at Microsoft in the SQL Server Division for 5 years. Adam graduated from Stanford with a degree in Symbolic Systems, and a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction. Karen KrupsawSenior Vice President, Real Estate Operations
As Vice President of Real Estate Operations, Karen Krupsaw oversees the home-selling business at Redfin nationwide and is responsible for the company's East Coast operations, including revenues, hiring, customer service and expansions into new markets. Karen was hired in 2009 as the Washington DC Market Manager and stepped up to the role of East Coast Regional Director in 2011. Prior to Redfin, Karen spent 15 years working in the home building industry, leading the growth of large sales organizations and overseeing company-wide marketing strategies. She served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bozzuto Homes and previously for Renaissance Housing. Karen graduated from Boston University's School of Management with a degree in Finance.
Anthony KappusVice President of Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Anthony is Vice President of Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Redfin. Before joining Redfin, Anthony was a corporate and securities attorney in the Seattle office of DLA Piper, where he represented venture capital funds and technology companies of all sizes. Anthony holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and a Juris Doctor with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law, where he also served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Law Review.
Jennifer ChaoVice President, Engineering
Jennifer leads the San Francisco engineering team at Redfin. She joined the company in 2008 as a software engineer on the core search experience team and was a key developer on the first version of the highly rated Redfin iOS app. Today she leads the Redfin web and mobile apps teams that are responsible for helping people search for homes and for connecting customers to Redfin Agents. She also oversees the company’s initiative to automate and streamline the home tour scheduling process. Previously, Jennifer worked as a software engineer at Plumtree Software and BEA Systems. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in computer science.
Keith BroxtermanVice President, Customer Operations
Keith leads the nationwide support operations team at Redfin and is responsible for the business teams that support Redfin agents and clients throughout the entire home buying process. Keith joined Redfin in 2015 as an agent before assuming his current role in 2017. Prior to Redfin, Keith spent 21 years leading customer service organizations for JPMorgan Chase and its affiliates. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of North America operations at APAC Customer Services, where he led a team of 11,000 customer service professionals across multiple industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and technology. Keith attended the University of Kansas.
Daryl FairweatherChief Economist
Daryl Fairweather is the chief economist of Redfin. Prior to joining Redfin she was a senior economist at Amazon working on problems related to employee engagement and managing a team of analysts. During the housing crisis, Daryl worked as a researcher at the Boston Fed studying why homeowners entered foreclosure. Daryl received her Bachelor's of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her Ph.D. and Master's degrees in economics at the University of Chicago where she specialized in behavioral economics.
Lisa TaylorVice President, Marketing
Lisa leads brand marketing and communications at Redfin. She joined the company in 2009 as the first marketing hire and built Redfin's email marketing, customer research and home-buying and selling class programs. Today she leads all customer communication efforts including developing TV, radio, outdoor and digital ads and manages product marketing teams that help define and launch innovative services for home-buyers and sellers. She also leads the PR and communications teams in positioning Redfin in the media as a housing market authority and technology thought leader. She graduated summa cum laude from Whitman College with degrees in classical piano performance and economics.
